But now it's time to head north. Solstice slipped away from the dock quietly just after sunrise. 86 miles across the sea, Santa Catalina is waiting for me. Jake and Jackie of Hokule'a are waiting for me too. Solstice is Two Harbors bound. YYYAAAHHHOOO!!!!||32° 42.603' N||117° 14.067' W||20 Jun 2018 18:00||None||None||None||Waiting on the dock to grab my lines were my dear friends Neal and Ruthie from s/v Rutea. How fitting to have cruising friends welcome me home to California. Immediately I was whisked away by them for a wonderful evening of wining and dining at their beautiful home. It's hard to believe I'm really back here in California after 7 years sailing around the world. I'll be here for a couple of days before heading off to Catalina. The last stop before Redondo Beach. Crazy.||32° 42.619' N||117° 14.068' W||20 Jun 2018 17:30||None||3.5||None||Entering San Diego Harbor.||32° 42.559' N||117° 14.131' W||20 Jun 2018 17:20||None||4.0||346||Entering San Diego Harbor.|
