Taking the outside route around Cedros to avoid the Cape winds off the northern tip. Glassy conditions. All is well.||27° 39.189' N||114° 53.873' W||04 Jun 2018 07:25||6.0||4.5||188||Pulled the hook at 06:45, went to throttle up and heard a loud squeak from the engine room. Engine belt was slipping. Arrrrrr! Dropped the hook again, shut the engine down, tightened it up and am off. Lost about 45 minutes. Headed for Ensenada - last half of the Baja Bash - Got what looks like a good 2 1/2 day window.||27° 41.208' N||114° 53.358' W||31 May 2018 14:30||6.0||None||None||Hook down about 14:30 local time. Tiring couple of days but all is well. Nice to shut the engine off and give her a much needed break. Will be here for a few days waiting for this next set of winds to settle before heading off for Ensenada. Closing the gap. Arrrrr.||27° 40.966' N||114° 53.11' W||31 May 2018 12:00||None||5.2||None||Headed into the bay just at the right time.|
