Wind finally settled around 10pm and we started to make good speed again. Hoping to make Turtle Bay before winds pickup this afternoon.||24° 47.218' N||112° 19.058' W||29 May 2018 09:30||None||4.0||None||Heading around smack into winds and sea. Finally a small window. Off for Turtle Bay.||24° 46.308' N||112° 15.401' W||24 May 2018 07:50||7.0||None||None||Hook down just under 48 hours after leaving Cabo. Slow going but not too bad. Solstice did great except when getting beat into it. Tranny is leaking a little (about a tablespoon every 24 hours) but R2 did great and held course well through it all. Happy to have this first jump in our wake. The wind started to howl just as we anchored and it's supposed to blow for the next 3 days. So we'll be here waiting for the next window to head north. Happy to rest after a couple of long nights on a surging sea. All is well. Arrrrrr.|
